GEORGETOWN, SC — When Teresa’s two children first joined The Village Group’s after-school program, she simply hoped her children would have a safe place to go after school. What she found was so much more.

“I have seen my kids grow so much through the program,” Teresa said. “My once-shy first grader has turned into an outgoing, eager sixth grader who’s ready to try new things.”

But we cannot stop here. Every child deserves their own moment of breakthrough.

What started in Plantersville now reaches every corner of Georgetown County. For 20 years The Village Group has been a place that nurtures students joy of learning, supports families, and celebrates culture passed down generations.

Through the month of December, we need your help to raise $75,000 to ensure no child is left waiting for tutoring, after-school care, or a safe space to grow.
