GEORGETOWN, SC — The Village Group had a wonderful community Christmas Celebration Dec. 18. As always it is a great opportunity to come together this time of year and to shine a spotlight on our young people. We also want to thank our community partners, The Friendly Sons of Shillelagh, The Rotary Club of Georgetown and St. Christophers Children for their generous gifts of toys, winter coats and clothing.

We were blessed with terrific holiday performances from our students, choir and dance troupe. Santa visited with his wonderful helpers and served cookies. And all the presents for our deserving young people.

The Friendly Sons of Shillelagh came to The Village Group with two busloads of Santas and a trailer full of toys for our young people.

We also got a special extra surprise $2,500 donation! We are so grateful for their generosity and their enthusiasm which helped light up our annual community Christmas celebration last night.

We want to thank Rotary Club of Georgetown for their donation of warm winter coats and St. Christopher’s Children and Resale Store for their donation of clothing. Your gifts brought smiles to many faces.
