GEORGETOWN, SC — It was a gorgeous fall day Nov. 1, 2025 for the 7th Annual Tour de Plantersville Bike Ride & Cultural Festival!

More than 350 riders joined us from all over South Carolina and elsewhere to take part in the 62-, 35, and 12-mile ride which was renamed this year in honor of Christian Washington, a Carvers Bay High School student and alum of The Village Group, who passed away in 2025.

Another approximately 200 peope joined us for the Cultural Festival featuring delicious local cuisine and entertainment that included jazz music, steel drums, gullah storytelling and African drums and dancing. And, of course, lively performances by the PSA Youth Choir.
