ASHEVILLE, NC — Ray C. Funnye, Executive Director and Founder of The Village Group, was recently recognized during a Community Investment Cohort Pinning Ceremony, celebrating the successful completion of a leadership and professional development program focused on strengthening community investment and economic opportunity.

The pinning ceremony honors participants who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing sustainable community development, fostering partnerships, and creating opportunities that improve quality of life in underserved and rural communities.
