This after-school program commenced on January 9, 2017 and is in session with an average enrollment of 67 students providing remedial education and academic enrichment at Plantersville Elementary School. In this program, we serve students K-5 with certified teachers along with host of other support staff including teaches aids, bus drivers, janitor, food services, and administrative support. The Village After-School Center provides students with tutoring, homework assistance, recreation, character education, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), Mentoring, Entrepreneurship experiences, and nutritious snacks after-school. Volunteers are needed for this program.
